FED RUN 2017 Operation

Every year, FEPAG, in collaboration with other EMS groups, renders its medical assistance to the runners of the FED RUN - a running event organized by the FFCAAI. But this year however, The group was chosen to be the official and only Medic Stand by for the event.

The group was honored to be chosen as the official Medic Stand By for the said event. This gave FEPAG the opportunity to showcase their renowned quality care in the field to the runners. The group's set up consisted of five ambulances and five motorcycle medics each strategically located on the track. This is to ensure that the safety and security of the runners are well monitored.

Fortunately no one was seriously injured during the run. Only minor scratches and bruises were treated with regards to the trauma side and raised blood preassures, from the scorching heat at the race village and the running itself, were the only medical cases. Although there was one adult female who was transported to the hospital due to a suspected spinal injury. There were a few bumps with regards to the race proper but FEPAG served well and contributed greatly to the run's success.
